| WHO: | All Blast families who shop and eat and need to earn money toward their fundraising requirement. |
| WHAT: | SCRIP is a program that is very similar to the Kroger/Food City gift card program that most of us have used. With Scrip, families are able to purchase gift cards or gift certificates from a wide variety of participating vendors. Just like the Kroger/Food City program, with each Scrip purchase the team receives a percentage of the purchase price. The percentage our team receives varies from 2% to 15% or more on each purchase, depending on the vendor. If you already shop or eat at one of the participating retailers why not purchase a Scrip and earn money toward your fundraising obligation. On the other hand, say you have wanted to try a new restaurant that happens to be on the list, why not take the opportunity to try the restaurant and earn a percentage towards fundraising. | WHEN: | ALL year long (September through July 15). |
| HOW: |
An email will be sent each month containing the monthly order form.
Just send a check, along with your completed order form, by the last day of the month. Order forms and checks must be received by the order deadline in order to place your order. Mail your check to: Jamie McKinney 6716 Briarglen Dr. Knoxville, TN 37919 Make check(s) payable to: BLAST Swimming. Please put a note on the memo line indicating that you are ordering SCRIPS. Orders should be received from SCRIP by the 15th of the month. Please make arrangements with Jamie to pick up your SCRIP order. |

| WHAT: | Kroger & Food City gift cards - purchase them, shop with them, eat and save. For example: For $100 you purchase a $100 gift card and earn $5 toward your fundraising requirement. |
| WHY: | Because no one likes to give their money away. If you buy gift cards, you eat AND earn your fundraising money. |
| WHEN: | ALL year long (September through July 15). |
| HOW: | Just send a check (enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope) by the 1st or 15th of each month. Orders will be placed on the 1st or 15th, unless they fall on a weekend. You should receive your card(s) within one to two weeks AND your check will not be deposited until the card(s) are picked up from the store or later. |
